Supporting the implementation of the migration and development component of the EU-Moldova Mobility Partnership Project funded by European Union and implemented by International Organization for Migration

Promoting return and skill transfer of Moldovan overseas graduates by engaging them in private or public institutions in Moldova (2010-2012)

In order to mitigate the adverse effects of brain drain among young people, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in partnership with the National Employment Agency (NEA), as well as with the Ministry of Education (MEd), Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) and Academy of Science of Moldova (ASM) in October 2010 advertised the program which promotes and facilitates the temporary and permanent return and professional reintegration of 30 Moldovan overseas graduates.

IOM reiterates the announcement for a limited number of grants for Moldovan overseas graduates in humanities or exact domain, which desire to comeback to Moldova and be employed in public or private sector. IOM will support the Moldovan overseas graduates selected for professional placements in public and private institutions of Moldova. The project will provide logistic assistance in identifying job vacancies and 200 euro monthly living allowance to participants for six months, as well as reimbursement of the transportation costs from the destination country to Moldova.
